Procedures

  • Dentistry

Unlike many other dentists in the Austin, TX, community, our office is far from corporate. We consider ourselves an integral part of the local community. Dr. Ip is a native Texan and attended college in Austin. Our office supports local sports teams and schools, among other organizations, to show our appreciation and give back. All of the charts at our Austin office charts are paperless. We use digital x-rays (which also expose patients to lower levels of radiation), and we take care to recycle as many dentistry materials as we can. Our dentist also includes sterilizable instruments and supplies over single-use varieties in our daily practices.

  • Veneers

While other cosmetic dentistry treatments such as teeth whitening are designed to address a single issue, veneers can conceal stains, minor cases of misalignment, and chips or cracks all at once. Dr. Ip only uses top-quality porcelain to create dental veneers for his patients. This material is expertly customized to blend in with your surrounding teeth, giving you a natural-looking smile upgrade. They also mimic the shine and texture of natural teeth.

  • Cosmetic Dentistry

Chips, cracks, or discolored teeth have a significant impact on your self-esteem. Dr. Ip is committed to not only enhancing smiles, but helping people become happier and more confident in their everyday lives. Say goodbye to the days of smiling with your mouth closed or covering your teeth when you laugh. Our Austin, TX, office offers a wide range of cosmetic treatments all under one roof. Whether you are interested in teeth whitening, veneers, or a smile makeover, we have a treatment that can benefit every patient and help rejuvenate your appearance.

  • Invisalign®

While patients who choose braces typically wear them for 18 months to four years, Invisalign is designed to straighten your smile in 12 to 18 months. Dr. Vincent Ip uses PROPEL Excelleration™ technology during every case. PROPEL allows Dr. Ip to move the teeth into alignment much quicker. In some cases, it can cut treatment time in half.

  • Oral Appliance Therapy

If heavy snoring and obstructive sleep apnea affect your ability to get a good night's sleep, Dr. Ip can help. Our team can craft a custom oral appliance to relieve mild-to-moderate OSA. This simple oral device means you can avoid using a CPAP machine and the need for more invasive sleep apnea therapy. People diagnosed with central sleep apnea, complex sleep apnea, or severe OSA may not be candidates for an appliance, but we can still find solutions for their problems. Smile 360 can work with your ENT or sleep medicine specialist to develop a multi-disciplinary treatment plan. Your health and wellness will always be our top priority.

  • Sleep Apnea Treatment

The most common form of this condition is obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Obstructive sleep apnea occurs when the tongue, soft palate, or throat tissues relax and block your airways while you sleep. In addition to OSA, people may also suffer from central sleep apnea (CSA). Central sleep apnea occurs when your brain cannot control the muscles responsible for normal respiration during sleep.

  • Vivos Airway Health

While traditional oral appliances alleviate snoring by opening up your airway during the night, they do nothing to actually modify the structure of your jaws. If you ever stop wearing your appliance, your airway will collapse again, and your snoring will return. Vivos oral appliances, on the other hand, combine the disciplines of dental sleep medicine and orthodontics.
