I began my fitness journey in 2010 at the local YMCA in Conroe, TX. After months of doing endless cardio, eating bottomless salads, and my physique remaining the same, I researched and practiced lifting weights properly. Along with fueling my body optimally, it completely changed my physique. In 2015, I decided to move to Austin, TX to pursue my passion for helping others conquer their health and wellness goals. By November of 2020, I became a certified personal trainer through the NSCA and now train others at the YMCA Townlake. This allows me to use and share his knowledge here at StretchLab. My hobbies include, trying new coffee, playing bass guitar, lifting heavy things, and making new friends. I love StretchLab because I can help people live pain free and happy lives.
I come to StretchLab with over 6 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy and rehabilitation movement practice. I am an ACE certified personal trainer with a focus on overall health and wellness. I am also continuing my education in nutrition, weight loss strategy and corrective exercise science. Love hiking, camping, spending time with my dogs and just being active in the outdoors. I work at StretchLab to help people achieve a more fluid and balanced lifestyle.
I am a NASM certified personal trainer, fitness instructor, and 200 hour certified yoga teacher. I studied biology and health science at Hawai’i Pacific University and have coached gymnastics and cheerleading all over the world for 15 years. I started my athletic career as an elite gymnast in Ljubljana, Slovenia at the age of 5. I had the privilege of being chosen as one of the eight young girls to be trained in hopes of becoming the first Slovenian Olympic team representing the nation in Beijing. After a series of injuries that deterred my Olympic dreams, I found my passion for cheerleading. Everything I dreamt off as a gymnast, I was able to achieve as a cheerleader. I won many prestigious titles such as National, European and World Champion. I was also one of the few Slovenians to receive a scholarship in the United States. As a life-long athlete and fitness enthusiast, I understand the importance and benefits of physical and mental wellness. Stretching was one of the pillars for my successes as an athlete, and now I love to share my personal experiences and expertise with her personal clients and members at StretchLab.
