Bios

• Raul

  Mr. Raul as the children call him, is the on-site owner of The Goddard School in Circle C Ranch. Raul recognizes how important it is for families to have a safe and nurturing environment for their children. He received his Bachelor’s degree in a Political Science at The University of Central Florida. Our owners, Raul and Isa Alvarez, would like to extend an invitation to you and your family to visit the beautiful new school, introduce you to their incredible faculty, and tell you all about the Goddard approach to learning. • Jessica

  Jessica, born and raised in Austin, studied Child Development at the University of Texas of Austin and marched in the Longhorn Band for 4 years. She has worked in early childhood for 26 years and is a member of NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children). She has presented at local and national conferences and has co-written Thrifty Teacher's Guide to Creative Learning Centers, a teacher resource book published in 2017. Most recently, from 2018-2020, Jessica served on the Board of Directors for the Austin Creative Reuse center, a non-profit organization. She has been with The Goddard School of Austin I since it's opening in 2009 and became director at the Circle C location when it opened in August of 2020.

• Natalie

  Natalie is our second Assistant Director. Her previous experience in child care was working with toddlers and most recently an administrator at another child care center. Natalie was also swim instructor for 5 years and a dance instructor for 2 years. Ms. Natalie recently got married and has 2 little fur babies at home June and Jinks. She is excited to be a part of our team and feels working with children is the greatest accomplishment.

• Stephanie

  Stephanie joined our sister school on Frate Barker in October of 2011. In the last 12 years she has worked with all ages, earned an associate's degree in Child Development, was a lead teacher in a pre-k classroom, and is now our Assistant Director at our Circle C school. Stephanie has two children of her own and one that attends the Goddard School. She enjoys photography, spending time with her family, and singing in her church choir. She loves working with children and enjoys seeing them learn and grow through the years.

• Alexandria

  Ms. Alexandria has an Early Childhood Development degree and would like to continue her education as a psychology major. Ms. Alex began working as a volunteer at her youth church which motivated her to pursue her degree. She has previous experience working at another Goddard school as an assistant and lead teacher. Alex is excited to work at Goddard and looks forward to building relationships and bonds with her families, staff and children.

• Alicia

  Ms. Alicia comes to Goddard with previous nanny and child care experience. She started off as a floater and then an assistant in our 3 year old room. She has now taken the role of lead teacher in our 2 year old Dart Frog room. She is currently taking courses to earn a Child Development Associate's Degree. Alicia is looking forward to growing and learning more about Goddard all while making the children's learning experience fun.

• Amanda

  Ms. Amanda joined Goddard in Feb 2023. She has over 7 years of experience working with children as a nanny and at a Montessori school. Amanda enjoys being around children and considers it to be one of the most rewarding jobs. She is looking forward to continuing learning & gaining experience/ qualifications to help her further advance in early childhood education.

• Cailan

  Ms. Cailan has a bachelor's in history and a dog named Roxie who is like a 'child.' Cailan started as our first steps assistant teacher and is now our assistant in a young toddler room, Turtles. Cailan is excited about this transition and is looking forward to encouraging creativity and aiding each child's development.

• Candi

  Candi joined The Goddard School in 2022. She has 2 children of her own and is from California. She started as our young toddler lead teacher and has now moved to an older room, Lemurs. She has been a great addition to the team!

• Karla

  Ms. Karla joined The Goddard Circle C back when we opened in August 2020. She started off as a floater then was promoted to an assistant and now currently excited to be taking on a lead role in our Hummingbird room. She looks forward to building relationships with the families and babies. Ms. Karla now has a child of her own that attends Goddard and is excited to see him grow here as well.

• Madison

  Ms. Madison graduated high school in 2017 and joined us with previous Goddard school experience. She has worked with ages 2-3 for the past 7 years as an assistant and now taking on a Lead position in our Toucan room. Ms. Madison has 2 children of her own that attend The Goddard School. Madison loves working with children and being part of their growth as 'they are the future.' Her goal is to be able to give parents peace of mind and assurance that their children are safe and being cared for while at Goddard.

• Mariana

  Ms. Mariana graduated high school in 2018. She is currently taking courses to earn a Child Development Associate's Degree and comes to Goddard with previous child care experience. Ms. Mariana has a 2 year old daughter of her own that attends Goddard and a dog named Piñata. Mariana loves being a part of the children's development and enjoys seeing them grow.

• Megan

  Ms. Megan is from San Angelo and joined our sister school in November of 2012. She obtained an associate's degree in Child Development in August 2016 and is our lead teacher in the Gecko room working with pre-k children, ages 4-5yrs. Megan has many years of experience working with children and has a daughter of her own. She enjoys the creativity her students bring to her classroom.

• Monica

  Monica V. began her career with us in September of 2017 at our sister school as an assistant teacher. She is now our lead teacher in the Sloth room with 3.6-4.6 year olds. She is currently completing her associate's degree in Child Development and has been a great asset to our team.

• I'Shae

  Ms. I'shae graduated PC North Highschool in 2021. Shae has babysitting experience and looks forward to working with children and others at The Goddard School. I'shae enjoys spending time with her family and has two dogs Cooljo and Blessed. Shae started off as a floater and is now assistant in our Monarch classroom.

• Casandra

  Ms. Casandra is our amazing on-site cook. She has experience working as a preschool cook, a hotel chef, and preschool teacher. She caters to children with food allergies and food preferences. She began working with The Goddard School in November of 2020.

• Kandy

  Ms. Kandy graduated Akins High School in 2022 and currently working towards getting a degree in Early Childhood Development. She has 2 cats Callie and Luna and enjoys running. Kandy loves being around children and joined Goddard to be surrounded by others who enjoy working with children just as much as she does.
